crafting with my favorite girl ever

Alex and I really enjoyed our time we had in Roswell. We had great friends, a nice house, a great ward. But the one thing I really missed was being close to my family. I am so grateful that I live close to my sister Brenda. She is my best friend and I cherish the time we get to spend together. Pretty much she is the best sister in the world and you should all be jealous she isn’t your sister! We have been craft machines this past week and I had to share what we have been doing. We really wanted to make some cute little dolls for Paige and Bridget to play with so we thought why not Disney dolls! Hold on to your hats and prepare for the cutest damn thing you have ever seen in your life! Enjoy!

Ruby Sweetheart Jewelry

I have a very good friend in Roosevelt, UT who make the most BEAUTIFUL jewelry and I wanted to share some of it here on my blog. Her jewelry is beautiful for everyday wear and looks great for your engagements or wedding jewelry. She also makes the most adorable children’s jewelry. Her company is called Ruby Sweetheart Jewelry and you can find her on Facebook. Go check her out!

Her jewelry was featured in two of our past shoots. First in our fun Retro Co-Ed Wedding Shower

And then here jewelry traveled all the way to Michigan for our rustic fall shoot.

It is so nice having such talented friends. Thank you again Jazlyn. Love you so much!

California Dreamin’

Every year we are so blessed to travel to Newport Beach, California to stay at the Marriott Newport Coast Villas. The property is so beautiful and it is so fun to spend a week with family (well most of the time) We had a blast talking pictures at the beach, swimming in the beautiful pools and wandering Hollywood with Myrthe. (My mom’s foreign exchange student from The Netherlands)

My babies. The cutest ever.

Family pictures in swimsuits? Why not! Beats white shirts and levis!!!

We went swimming 2-3 times a day! The picture of Jack doing a belly flop is CLASSIC!

Myrthe HAD to go to Hollywood. It was lots of fun…even with all the freaky people there!

The beautiful sunrise from our balcony. Can’t beat that view.

Fall Portraits are Oh So Fun!

A few days ago Brenda and I decided to do a little photo shoot with the girl in the pretty fall leaves. The colors have been so beautiful in Salt Lake City this year and I have loved shooting pictures in them. I am pretty sure I have the cutest subjects to take pictures of!
