In Little Rock for Alltel training

A few weeks ago Alex was in Little Rock, AR for his Alltel Management training.  He was pleasantly surprised with the beautiful city and he took some really incredible pictures.

This was the view from Alex’s hotel room.

Little Rock Central High School.  Isn’t it amazing!  I can’t believe kids actually get to go to school there.

The Old Statehouse.  Alex says it is the oldest remaining capital building west of the Mississippi River

The Old Mill.  Oh I want to shoot there!!!  I am going to print a big canvas of this for our house.  You might recognize this if you have seen Gone with the Wind.  Cool huh

A cool thing about the Arkansas state capital building:
When Utah was updating and remodeling the capital building in Salt Lake, they encountered a problem. The chandelier in the dome needed light fixtures replaced. They were no longer being produced. They turned to Arkansas and they had the exact chandelier and graciously gifted the light fixtures to the state of Utah.

Why I know that, I don’t know. My brain is filled with random facts that will get me nowhere in life
