Lincoln New Mexico Photographer | visiting billy the kid!

For some reason these pictures never got blogged.  When my sweet brother and father-in-law helped us move down to NM, we decided to see some of the sites while they were here.  We got got into Roswell really late the night before so we wanted to do something pretty easy going so Alex suggested visiting Lincoln, NM.  We packed a fun little picnic lunch and spent the afternoon perusing the quaint little western town.  Lincoln was at the center of the Lincoln County War  and is the historical home of Billy the Kid.  They have some really great museums there and is definitely worth checking out if you are ever in the area.

Some little details shots of the town

The gang.  I almost didn’t post this because I look like a total skag, but I had a good reason.  I didn’t know where my nice clothes, blow dryer, hair straightener or makeup was packed.

The plaque is pretty explanatory.  I love history!
