Announcing Photo Classes in UT & NM

In the past few months I have had a lot of people say to me “Tonya, I don’t want to come to a workshop where I learn how to run a business.  I just want to learn how to use my camera!”  I heard your plea and I have decided to teach some Basic Photography classes in both Roosevelt, Utah and Roswell, New Mexico.  If there is enough interest in a Salt Lake class I will plan on a 2 day intensive Basic Photography class.  If you are interested in that SLC class please let me know asap!

***Edited to add***I have already had quite a few people show interest in the SLC class so lets just plan on it!  It will be August 13th and 14th.  It will be $100.00 and lunch will be provided both days.

Basic Photography I $125.00

Roosevelt, Utah  August 2, 4, 9, & 12. (6 pm – 8 pm)

Basic Photography I is all about learning to use your SLR camera.  We will be learning how to shoot your camera in manual mode, understanding light, nailing your exposure and basic composition.  I strongly believe that the best way to learn is to shoot your heart out and get your work critiqued.  So we will have a bunch of that too!  The last class will be a shooting field trip.  Fully adjustable digital or film SLR camera is required.

Basic Photography II $150.00

Basic Photography II is for people who have either completed the Basic Photography I class or that have a basic understanding of their camera and can shoot in manual mode with success.  We will dig deeper into the principals of light and composition. We will work on producing high quality images through advanced camera controls and lighting. A digital or film SLR camera is required.
