I am back…My RMSP Weekend

I know what you are all thinking (if I still have any blog readers left after months of no blogging) “WOW! Tonya actually blogged something new!” I have been so bad about blogging, but I feel like I have a decent excuse. In July Alex and I are being blessed with another baby girl! We are so very excited. The only downside is that I have been incredibly sick and haven’t cared much about blogging. But I think hope I have turned a corner to feeling better. I do have some very fun things to show you in the coming weeks!

Last weekend I had the wonderful opportunity to attend the RMSP Weekend in SLC with my favorite sister and my wonderful husband. I know I have said it before, but going to RMSP in 2004 was the best experience of my life. I have such a love and passion for the art of photography, and I love being around people who share the same passion. While sitting through the classes I got a text from my mom asking me if I was bored sitting through a basic photography class, and honestly that was the farthest from the truth. First off Tony Rizzuto is the most entertaining teacher I have ever had the pleasure to listen to, and secondly I am such a photography nerd at heart I loved hearing why photography works the way it does. I also get a great pleasure from seeing others around me learn something new about something I love so much. I only wished that I was up there teaching as well!

Speaking of teaching…I will be teaching some new classes this spring and summer in Utah, which I am so excited about. If you are interested in learning more about photography please email me or leave a comment below. I will be announcing the new classes in the coming weeks. I will have classes for all skill levels. I have loved teaching classes the past two years and I am so excited to be teaching more.

Blog posts are boring without pictures, so here is one I took the summer of 2004 outside of Missoula. I am no landscape photographer, but I think I did ok. The gorgeous Montana sunrises had a lot to do with it!

Much Love,
Tonya
