We had great friends, a nice house, a great ward. But the one thing I really missed was being close to my family. I am so grateful that I live close to my sister Brenda. She is my best friend and I cherish the time we get to spend together. Pretty much she is the best sister in the world and you should all be jealous she isn’t your sister! We have been craft machines this past week and I had to share what we have been doing. We really wanted to make some cute little dolls for Paige and Bridget to play with so we thought why not Disney dolls! Hold on to your hats and prepare for the cutest damn thing you have ever seen in your life! Enjoy!

The property is so beautiful and it is so fun to spend a week with family (well most of the time) We had a blast talking pictures at the beach, swimming in the beautiful pools and wandering Hollywood with Myrthe. (My mom’s foreign exchange student from The Netherlands)

We went swimming 2-3 times a day! The picture of Jack doing a belly flop is CLASSIC!

Myrthe HAD to go to Hollywood. It was lots of fun…even with all the freaky people there!

It was so fun to go trick-or-treating with the Queen of Hearts (Bridget) They were serious troopers and trick-or-treated for almost 2 hours! Where did my baby girl go!?!?

My goodness what beautiful country it is up there. I can see why my father in law, who grew up there, still holds a special place in his heart for the Oregon Coast. I for one loved that everywhere you went there were wild blackberries growing like weeks. We must have filled 5 gallon size ziplocks. I kept asking my father in law if it was ok to be picking them and he assured me that it was. It was a blast. Here are all the pictures I took using my iPhone and instagram.
