Family Picture Sale + One of my Favorite Families

I looked out the window this morning and saw snow. I love snow, but I am so sad that Fall is about over. I am sure this snow will melt and we will have a few more weeks of nice weather but I crave those crisp fall days. Since I am feeling so melancholy I have decided to have a family portrait sale. All family sessions are now only $200 (normally $350) That includes your session and $100 credit to be used towards prints, christmas cards or albums. Pictures make great Christmas gifts. This sale only lasts for one week so if you are interested let me know!

Speaking of family pictures, here is a session of one of my favorite families in the world. Aren’t my nephews and niece the cutest!

Vernal SmugMug Meeting + a Basics of Photography Class

Hi everyone! I am so excited to announce that I am going to be speaking at the July Vernal SmugMug group. You do not have to be a SmugMug customer to come to this meeting. I am going to be talking about taking timeless portraits and the workflow and post processing that goes along with it. I would love to meet all of the new and amazing photographers that are in the Basin. The meeting will be on Thursday July 21st at 6:30 p.m. at The Place in Vernal. You do not need to be a professional photographer to come to this meeting. After the meeting I will be having a Q & A session, and everyone knows I have a pretty strong opinion about almost everything! hehehe! If you wold like to come to the meeting please R.S.V.P. here.

Also I am going to be teaching another Basics of Photography I class the next day. Basic of Photography I is all about learning to use your SLR camera. We will be learning how to shoot your camera in manual mode, understanding light, nailing your exposure and basic composition. I strongly believe that the best way to learn is to shoot your heart out and get your work critiqued. So we will have a bunch of that too! The last class will be a shooting field trip. Fully adjustable digital or film SLR camera is required. Lunch is provided. The cost for the class is $150. If you would like to sign up for this class please email me at info@tonyapeterson.com.

Portrait Sale + I am coming back to Utah

Hi friends. I am so excited to be visiting my family in Utah starting May 27th. I will be there for a week and I have time for 2 or 3 sessions while I am there. I am also running a special for portrait sessions. Sessions will be $250 and you have two choices. You can either choose 20 of your favorite shots on a disc ready to print or you can choose to have a $150 print credit that can be used through my online ordering and printing. If you are interested in doing this please contact me! And because a post is boring without pictures, here are a few of Paige I shot a few weeks ago. I dare say she is pretty adorable!

Roswell High School Prom

Last week I had the wonderful pleasure of taking some prom picture for some of my awesome 2011 Seniors. I seriously loved my Seniors this year and was honored that they asked my to take some pics of them. They all looked great and were so hilarious!

Spring Photography Classes

I am so excited to announce 4 new photography classes for spring 2011. I absolutely love teaching and sharing the knowledge of photography that I have! These classes in the past have filled up quickly

Basic Photography I $150.00

Basic Photography I is all about learning to use your SLR camera. We will be learning how to shoot your camera in manual mode, understanding light, nailing your exposure and basic composition. I strongly believe that the best way to learn is to shoot your heart out and get your work critiqued. So we will have a bunch of that too! Fully adjustable digital or film SLR camera is required. Lunch will be provided.

Basic Photography II $175.00

Basic Photography II is for people who have either completed the Basic Photography I class or that have a basic understanding of their camera and can shoot in manual mode with success. We will dig deeper into the principals of light and composition. We will work on producing high quality images through advanced camera controls and lighting. A digital or film SLR camera is required.
