Easter Brunch By Petal Pixie

Yes it has been 6 months since I blogged, but I have a very good reason… It isn’t that I haven’t been shooting though. This spring I shot a beautiful styled shoot with my dear friend Kim of Petal Pixie. When we get together for a shoot, there is more laughter and teasing than actual shooting and styling, but I wouldn’t change a thing! Love that girl.

Kim is so talented and I love shooting her work. If you are planning a wedding, STOP and hire her for you flowers AND event planning. She is wonderful.

This beautiful Bridal Shower Brunch was featured on Salt Lake Bride and Groom a few months ago. So grateful.

DIY BBQ Engagement Party

One of the things I love most about my job is working with so many talented wedding vendors who have a passion for what they do. A few months ago I had the pleasure to photograph a shoot for my very good friend Kim with Petal Pixie. She is an amazing floral and event designer and I love her to pieces. Kim wanted to bring back an old tradition of an engagement party, but keep a fun and relaxed atmosphere. I love this shoot and I love the vendors who collaborated on it. I also want to thank Wedding Chicks for featuring this shoot on their beautiful blog this morning.

I found the perfect spot for pictures in the fall. It is amazing, my new secret spot. I just had to share it with my brother in law and his family. Every year I look forward to spending time with them and taking pictures of their adorable family. Love you guys!

My Little Flower Girl

Every spring I can count on a few things happening.One, the snow will melt and be replaced with beautiful tulips and daffodils and two, Paige will pick them all without asking. For as long as I can remember Paige has loved flowers, so when Kim gave her some leftovers from a wedding she squealed in anticipation. I told her when we got home she could make her very first bouquet. Maybe I have a floral designer in the making.
