A quick trip to Disneyland + a BIG Announcement!

This past month has been a whirlwind and it doesn’t look like it will be calming down any time soon. About 2 months ago my best friend asked me if I would go to Disneyland with her. It was so last minute I didn’t know if Paige and I would be able to go but I just felt like I had to. She has that ugly, ugly, ugly disease called cancer and I wanted to have these memories. I am only going to post a few pics here on the blog from our trip. All the pics can be seen on my facebook page if you would like to see them.

I also have a wonderful announcement…We are moving back to Utah. I never thought this was something I wanted, but every time we would visit family Paige had so much fun with her cousins and friends. My business is also much more successful in Utah. But the biggest reason I am excited is that it gets me out of Roswell. I know this is the right move for our family and I am so excited for this new journey in our life. I will be celebrating our homecoming by putting my sessions on sale! Session will be on sale the whole month of July for only $200. You can choose to get $100 credit to be used towards prints or 20 of your favorite images ready to print on a cd. You session doesn’t need to be completed in July, but the deposit will need to be paid before July 31st. If you would like to book a session please email me. info@tonyapeterson.com. Spring Photography Classes

I am so excited to announce 4 new photography classes for spring 2011. I absolutely love teaching and sharing the knowledge of photography that I have! These classes in the past have filled up quickly

Basic Photography I $150.00

Basic Photography I is all about learning to use your SLR camera. We will be learning how to shoot your camera in manual mode, understanding light, nailing your exposure and basic composition. I strongly believe that the best way to learn is to shoot your heart out and get your work critiqued. So we will have a bunch of that too! Fully adjustable digital or film SLR camera is required. Lunch will be provided.

Basic Photography II $175.00

Basic Photography II is for people who have either completed the Basic Photography I class or that have a basic understanding of their camera and can shoot in manual mode with success. We will dig deeper into the principals of light and composition. We will work on producing high quality images through advanced camera controls and lighting. A digital or film SLR camera is required.

If you would like to sign up for a class please fill out the form below. Please specify which class you are interested in. If there is room available, payment will be due immediately to reserve your spot, and refundable only if I am able to fill your spot in the class.

Every once in a while a session comes along that totally blows your mind, and Erica’s was definitely one of them. The light was perfect, she was gorgeous and her clothes were stylish. Perfect combination. I absolutely ADORE her pictures.

I am so excited that I am finally getting caught up on blogging!!! I only have a few seniors left to blog and Ramon is one of them. He was such a sweet and funny guy to take pictures of. So polite too. His sessions was a total blast and I love the way his pictures turned out. How did I get so lucky to get all the best looking seniors from Roswell and Goddard!

I enjoyed taking senior pictures so much this year. The weather was less than ideal for Kelsey’s pictures that we ended up doing a quick 30 minute session a few days later so we could have a little sun in the pictures. I love the way both sessions turned out. She is a beauty and such a sweet heart.

I think this light is so beautiful and worth the wait.
