Photography II Class in Roswell

Hi friends. I have felt so privileged to be able to teach photography classes. It is one of the best parts of my job and I am so excited to teach more and more. I am so excited to offer a new class in Roswell that continues where the last class left off. If you didn’t talk the last class, but feel comfortable with shooting manually this class will be great for you. We will be learning more about lighting and composition, as well as mastering color zone system. We will also be shooting a lot more. I have planned a model shoot that will be a wonderful portfolio builder. The price for this class is 175.00. If you are interested in this class please email me right away. A few months ago I taught a photography class in Utah and I have had many people that have requested that I teach one in Roswell as well. There are a few details to still pan out but here goes . . .

Basic Photography I $150.00

Roswell, NM Saturday February 5th (9 a.m. – 4 p.m.)

Place TBA-Lunch Provided

Basic Photography I is all about learning to use your SLR camera. We will be learning how to shoot your camera in manual mode, understanding light, nailing your exposure and basic composition. I strongly believe that the best way to learn is to shoot your heart out and get your work critiqued. So we will have a bunch of that too! We will be doing hands on shooting and critiquing as well as a model shoot. A fully adjustable digital or film SLR camera is required.

I have had many photographers tell me that they think they are too advanced for this class and some of them might be right. If you can nail your exposures in camera every time you are too advanced for this class. If you would like to learn how to get spot on exposures every time and not rely on RAW then this may be an investment worth considering. Almost every image on this blog is straight out of the camera.

Hi Friends. I have been a MAJOR slacker here on the blog. I have NEVER gone this long without updating the blog. You know what the worst part is? I have 12 sessions that are all ready to blog! I will get it done! Promise!

This however is not a blog post about a session. It is about the new photography class I am teaching in Roswell this February. A few months ago I did a post about the upcoming classes in Utah and NM. The class in Utah was a great success and I am excited to announce that I will be teaching one in Roswell in February. I am finalizing the details and should have more information next week. Ashley & Craig Part 1

I absolutely loved this wedding. Not only was it a beautiful ceremony and reception, but Ashley and Craig are such beautiful people. They are so in love and you can see it in their pictures. Thank you so much for not only letting me share this special day with you, but also for letting me be your friend. I am honored to call you a friend!

Ashley and Craig had so many beautiful pictures from their wedding I couldn’t fit it into one post. So here is the getting ready and ceremony pictures. Tomorrow you will see the BEAUTIFUL shots of them together as husband and wife and also some details from the reception!

Ashley was one of the most beautiful brides I have ever seen. Her dress was INSANE!

Craig’s mom had this six pence coin in her shoe when she was married and Craig’s sisters have also all worn this lucky coin in their shoe. Kind of a fun and special tradition.

Ashley and Craig decided to have a “first look” before their ceremony. I love when Brides and Grooms decide to do this. It is such a sweet and special moment between the two of them.

The slide show was a sweet and touching moment in their ceremony.

This could be the most I have laughed during a ceremony. The groomsmen were quite the jokers and they put Ashley’s ring inside a Cracker Jack box. Just take a look at this next series. It was priceless!
