Giving Is Awesome http://www.tonyapeterson.com/blog/2009/12/holiday-portrait-giveaway-giving-is-awesome/ http://www.tonyapeterson.com/blog/2009/12/holiday-portrait-giveaway-giving-is-awesome/#comments Tue, 01 Dec 2009 21:17:24 +0000 tonyapeterson http://www.tonyapeterson.com/blog/?p=760 This time of year reminds me how many things I have to be grateful for.  I have always had a bed to sleep in and food to eat.  I have never had a Christmas that wasn’t full of great food, lots of love and tons of presents.  I feel truly blessed to have so much, but I know there are so many who are not as lucky as I have been.  Everyone knows someone who is struggling to make it this season and I need your help to find them.  I really wanted to donate my services to a family that couldn’t otherwise afford to have priceless family pictures taken.  I stumbled across Giving is Awesome and knew I wanted to participate in it!  Giving is Awesome is a simple effort by photographers worldwide to give back to their communities. Regional contests are sponsored by photographers across the globe and Tonya Peterson Photography is so excited to be a part of it.

If you know someone in or near Roswell that is deserving please send me their story.  If you know someone who you would like to nominate that isn’t living in Roswell, please visit HERE to find a photographer near you.

All Nominations must be submitted to me by 11:59 p.m. MST on December 24th.  Winners will be announced Christmas Morning.
